We
didn't know each other until we were sworn in
as Law Enforcement Officers. On that
day we became brothers and sisters in one of
life's greatest fraternities.
You
became my partner, my mentor and my guardian,
as I was yours. There
were difficult times, rewarding times, and
times when we laughed and cried together. And
through it all whenever I needed your help,
you were there for me, as I was for you. What
we once thought would be just a career in law
enforcement became a lasting fraternal
membership. When you were taken from us, a
piece of us went with you. Until we are
assigned together again in another place and
time, our thoughts and prayers will always be
with you.
